At QTurn LLC, we are dedicated to unlocking the full potential of children through meaningful impact assessment and other innovative approaches in Out of School Time (OST) programs. Our work is guided by three core principles:
PRINCIPLE I
QTurn introduces DIY measurement tools for identifying the social and emotional skills of children as well as adult best practices. Based on our Neuroperson framework, these tools provide a unique lens for understanding and responding to children and youth.
PRINCIPLE II
Our methods for analyzing assessment scores are designed to overcome unique challenges common in OST program settings. Utilizing our Quality-Outcomes (Q-O) impact evaluation design, QTurn demonstrates program outcomes and shows where children with the greatest challenges experience the most improvement.
PRINCIPLE III
QTurn empowers program leaders with localized, strengths-based feedback, embracing a decentralized approach to coaching and evaluation. We support continuous improvement tailored to the unique needs of each community, particular those facing high levels of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). Instead of lumping programs together, blind to local issues, we ensure that feedback is contextually relevant, supportive, and effective.
OUR COMMITMENT
By eliminating complex statistical requirements and putting evaluation tools directly into the hands of those who know OST practice best, we enable programs to reach their full potential.
